The new plan

I always told myself that I would never be happy working on cars for a living. I always put it off as a hobby and pursued, never sucessfully, other paths for making a living. I think this was and is a big mistake. Im good. Better than most. I know how things work and how to fix them and it comes naturally. I basically kick serious ass when it comes to repairing and modifying cars. I taught most of it to myself since I like to work by myself most of the time. I have no fear of doing anything to a vehicle no matter how involved or complicated. I am going to take the plunge and become an ASE certified master technition with the intent of starting a kickass buisness of my own. Im going to up and move to Jacksonville, FL. Im going to get an apartment and a job and after 6 months (once I become a resident) Im going to sign up at FCC in Jax for the automotive course. Its 2 years combined with and internship at a nearby dealership. Once I gain a few years experience working for someone Im going out on my own doing what I want for a buisness. By the end of this summer I am out. Im going to work my ass off for myself, get out of dodge and do what I have to do. I see much Ramen noodles and mac and cheese in the future along with a little sun and some grease on my arms. Florida here I come.

As I was saying to you the other night, it may be worth flying down for a couple days going to the DMV and getting a Florida ID, once you do that your resident status begins.  Just a thought, so you don't have to wait the 6 months when you get down here.

Oh and it looks like a great course.  You will do well.

OMG, dude. What have I missed? We seriously need to talk more...LOL

I think it is an awesome plan and I know you will kick some serious ass as a mechanic.

And mac n cheese is comfort food..ha ha. I can always come visit and cook up some Thai and Vietnamese, but something tells me you would probably prefer the mac n cheez...LMAO

Just watch out for the cops in Jacksonville...they are notorious for being anal about speeders...he he
