Nozzles

I just got done putting in some bigger nozzles in my VW and does it GO now. They claimed 20hp and 40 ft/lbs of torque and they were not lying. My car is so much fun to drive now. It did suck when I got it back together and I couldnt get the car started, it took about 4 hours to get the pump primed again. Once I get a better clutch, as it is on the verge of explosion now, Im going to chip it. Another 30hp and 50 ft/lbs, I fear for my license. The best part is on the highway I will get 6% better fuel mileage, rock on. Im on my way to a hot-rod diesel beetle

Yea I was reading John Muir's book and I came to an understanding about VWs. My friend also got me a book called: How I learned to stop worrying and love the Bug and it made me appreciate my car more seeing where it came from and what VW has been through.

Glad to see they went in ok. I'll have to see how it goes this weekend on our way to take skippy's dare.

They added MASSIVE amounts torque. I punched it on the highway this morning and got clutch slippage. It does put you back in the seat even in 5th gear (before the slippage). Not bad for a 4 cylinder. The turbo spools up about twice as fast and I gained 3 lbs of boost. I want Skippys Dare right now.

So I am guessing you fixed the E-brake and all of the other things wrong with it!!

Nope, e-brake still sticks on when its cold outside and I have to crawl thru the trunk to get in if I have to lock it. I have a large list of stuff to do before its back to normal. I did fix the ABS problem tho.

Get that car to Florida and you won't have to worry about the e-brake ever again!

I know! It worked awesome down there, the engine starts much better in the warm weather too. But then on the way back to SC the brake lights stopped working. That was an easy fix though.

Wow, its sounds like a lot of stuff has gone wrong with your car.  Maybe it has contracted the bird flu.

Seems like a lot has gone wrong with it for a 99, but glad it's back on the road.

Nah, it's normal for any VW, especially one that has visited other VWs. I swear they talk to one another and pass stuff on. I know one of my buses was giving your bug some $hit and Pepe said "Hey yall watch dis......"

LOL...can't wait to drive him again!!!

Constantly going on in the mind of the VW owner, "::sigh:: What is it now?" as you dig the number for your parts guy out of your wallet/purse, because you always have it close by.
