Today I got to see some houses in an area that I didnt really like. The
houses were nice but they were in a newer neighborhood with no trees.
They were also farther from where I would be working than I would want.
Im really starting to like the first one I looked at, the area that it
was in rocked, and well, it had a pond. Taking a trip tomorrow to look
at an area more like the first house was in but its not as close to the
beach.
So far I love Jacksonville, its not a touristy place, people are nice
and its a lot more laid back than CT. I hope it all works out, its so
damn sunny here. Its also supposed to be almost 70 tomorrow, cant beat
that.
How do you like the way people drive so far? The old people will get on your nerves soooooo bad, dude! I swear they PARK before they make a turn. But it beats getting killed by those kamikazes on the highway.
People drive ok here. Everything is like in slow motion compared to CT
where everyones in a hurry and pissed off. I saw an almost accident
right in front of my car when this girl pulled right out in front of a
pickup and the pickup locked up his brakes and he didnt even beep! If
that was CT the guy would have chased after the car and threatened her
life at the next red light. And yes, we will get shitfaced, its been a
while.
No doubt..I do not care how freakin cool CT may be. It's far too cold for my tastes! I will take sun and fun any day over snow and ice....just my opinion, says the girl who wants to live between Seattle and Portland....LMAO
When we were looking for a house, Ben, Riaan and I went to a few different places but one really sticks in my mind, one that we decided was NOT the neighborhood for us. We tried to give the house a chance but it wouldn't have mattered how it looked, once we saw the neighborhood, that was it. It's the reasonb we ended up in Vernon...we loved the neighborhood, and once we checked the house out, it was a done deal. I'm betting you stay with the first one you saw. P.S....Pics?
Yep its a little chilly here at night. Last night was warm, 65, but the
rest have been about 40s. The day is between 65-70, a pretty kickass
winter if you ask me. I went for the interview today, its all going
down tomorrow, until then my friends...we wait.
